The Rugby Football Union (RFU) has awarded the club £5,000 in match funding towards the costs of the clubhouse refurbishment. The club has previously been awarded £5,000 from the Corsham Area Board with further grants recieved from LocalGiving £500 and the Colerne Parish Council £250. These grants will enable the club to complete Phase 1 of the refurb plan which is for the re-boarding and re-plastering of the clubhouse ceiling and the installation of a new lighting system. This work will commence in mid May after the Annual Dinner and AGM. In the meantime planing, design and costing of the new kitchen continues and it is hoped that this work will be carried out before the end of this season. Colerne RFC is fully committed to providing 1st Class facilities at it's Higgins Field base.
