Colerne RFC are pleased to announce that the Dorset and Wilts RFU have granted £4,500 towards the refurbishment of the clubhouse. With the season now over it will be full steam ahead to get the works carried out and completed prior to the start of next season. Work to improve the hot water system in the clubhouse begins on Monday 13th May and the reboarding and plastering of the clubhouse ceiling together with the new lighting system are planned to be complete in June. Further works will be programmed when these phases are complete.
The club has also been formally informed of it's acceptence onto the Nat West Rugby Force day on Saturday 22nd June with a grant of £500 towards the costs of materials for the day. All help from players , supporters and friends will get the mountain of jobs required carried out. This is your chance to put something back into your club.
In other news the pitch maintenance programme has been carried out by Ecosolve at a cost of £2,800 and the pitch looks in wonderful condition. Performance next season will be the guage of whether this was money well spent.
