Colerne RFC are please to announce that village stalwart Chris Lilley has agreed to join the club in an advisory role to cover training and coach development, team structure and player recruitment. Chris will advise and mentor our current club coaches Ryan Willcox and Pete Coleman, who have been invited by the club to obtain their Level 2 coaching award over the next 3 months, and Chris has put in place a number of initiatives to aid coach development and mentoring including visits to Farleigh House to view professional level training. Chris will also advise on team tactics and player ethos as well as giving advise and help in player recruitment. In conjunction with the coaches Chris has set both short term and long term goals for the club on the playing side. The club is committed to providing best in class facilities for a club of its size and with these initiatives on the playing front the club hopes to make great strides over the coming 2/3 seasons which will enable it to meet the targets it has set itself in its current 5 year plan.
